They say good things come in small packages. New research "The B2B Web 2.0 Tools Report" from
Direct Impact Marketing shows that smaller marketers are more frequent users of Web 2.0 tools (blogs, podcasts, wikis, social networks, RSS) than larger ones.
Three-quarters of those who do are from companies with fewer than 10,000 staff, according to the report, proving you don't need to be IBM or Microsoft to make an impact.
And of those companies who do use these new communications tools, 64 percent use blogs, 58 percent RSS feeds and 54 percent podcasts.
Some 43 percent use the video flavour of podcasts, 43 percent social networks and just a meagre 19 percent use wikis.
